Designed by custom knifemaker Fred Carter, features include a 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum handle with machined beveled edges and non-slip Magna-grip inserts. The 1/3 serrated, 440 stainless steel blade is CryoEdge treated and bead blasted for a non-glare finish. Includes a form fitted sheath made of Boltaron, an impact-resistant high tensile polyvinyl. The sheath features a detachable belt loop and additional fastening slots and grommet holes.

Colt has always represented America's ingenious spirit of invention and innovation. The Freedom Bowie commemorates Samuel Colt's contribution to the United States becoming the land of the free. Features include a polished nickel silver handguard and frame with a solid wood checkered grip. The 440 stainless steel blade is mirror polished and features patriotic blade art inspired by a traditional bowie from the 1800s. The Freedom Bowie is strictly limited to 500 pieces produced and each knife is individually serialized. Presented with a certificate of authenticity and a solid wood and glass display case.

The black ABS handle features ribbed edges and a checkered design for better gripping power. The black ABS sheath features a stainless steel boot clip with a black finish, adorned with the Colt logo. Can be worn around the shoulder with the nylon shoulder strap/lanyard cord.
